A very unusual story happened with a woman on a Florida charter boat cruise when a 300-pound giant ray jumped into the boat and landed on her. In a nick of time the woman became stuck under the giant marine animal. Thanks God, neither woman nor the ray were hurt … but it is a one in a million situation!
A very strange and even a bit exotic creature was found by trawlermen in British waters. I am talking about an albino ray. It is a kind of the 80cm-long fish and now it lives at the Blue Reef Aquarium in Portsmouth.
As far as I know, rays need special camouflage in order to be able to survive and hide from predators, but this species has no camouflage, so it got a cool name Gamma Ray. Good luck, dear ray!!!
