Tarsius syrichta tarsier

Tarsiers, probably one of the most interesting animals in the world. They are exotic, funny and so small. Latin name is ‘Tarsius Syrichta’. They eat mostly insects, tarsiers grow up to 160 mm and weigh up to 165 grams. They can’t be mistaken with other animals and small primates because of a very peculiar appearance. Tarsiers possess large eyes and feet. They got such a strange name exactly because of the extended tarsus bones. These animals are perfect hunters because of large eyes and ears. They lead a night style of life. Oh, no! It doesn’t mean that they go to discos or participate in hot dancing nights, they are hunting and at day time they are mostly sleeping. Tarsiers’ vision is extremely acute and they can catch insects and even birds by jumping either from one branch to another or from one tree to another. Sometimes, tarsiers can hunt even snakes. Moreover, tarsiers’ neck can turn 180 degrees. :-) As a rule, tarsiers live on trees and they are of gray colour. Tarsiers possess a naked tale (unlike many other animals).

Pets

So my dear readers, let me introduse the next evidence of nature’s morbid imagination…
Axolotl. Mmm…it has so strange physical apperiance that it seems he was created in a lounge time with a glass of absinth..) I’ll prove that. Do u know that Axolotl has so amazing regenerative abilities, that if injured, even to the point of losing a body part, the Axolotl will heal readily and even regenerate lost bits!  Anyway, I’d like it to have in my own aquarium)
Just enjoy it’s photos.
Don't even know what to say

Axolotl

The axolotl is a type of salamander, native to Mexico.
My dears, if you intend to have Axolotl as a pet – remember, that Juvenile axolotls can be cannibalistic towards each other, so they are best raised in separate enclosures!!!
Adults can potentially be housed together but watch for cannibalistic tendencies.
In the wild, axolotls feed on snails, worms, crustaceans, small fish, and small amphibians. In captivity, they can be fed brine shrimp, small strips of beef or liver, earthworms (wild caught worms can carry parasites), bloodworms, tubifex worms, or commercial fish pellets (e.g. salmon or trout pellets).

Axolotl is the strangest

Well, for those who adore unusial pets in home aquarium – Axolotl is definitely best choice you may do. First place.
