Being a pet owner, I perfectly understand that the biggest pleasure for me is to see my doggie safe, sound and happy. To my mind, nobody wants pets to feel bad, but, unfortunately, sometimes, even if we do our best to avoid problems, they DO come and the unexpected happen. You can’t be near your dog 24/7, you can’t check everything it eats and smells. But you can at least be ready to face the difficulties. Most dogs sooner or later have dog diarrhea and your responsibility is to help your dog fight it effectively.

Dog diarrhea is not a curse it is a very common problem. You dog can catch it while exploring and secretly eating garbage, or any other infected thing. The most obvious symptom is the increased amount of fecal matter and its awful odor.

When your think your dog has diarrhea, look for the following:

Blood in stools. You should immediately contact your vet;

Dehydration. Dogs are very prone to it so make sure your pet has enough water and it drinks it;

Vomiting. If your dog vomits you should consult your veterinarian immediately.

Duration. If nothing helps in a couple of days, the problem can be more serious than you’ve expected.

Vets will find the reason of the illness and you have to understand that diarrhea is the way your dog’s body protects itself from ingested toxins. As a rule, diarrhea is not a big concern since in most cases it runs smooth and mild, but sometimes it may result in some serious problems, so if your dog doesn’t feel better in a couple of days, you’d better take it to a vet.

Today I would like to touch upon an extremely acute problem that is called a Dust Mite. Such mites are microscopic arachnids that live in our houses and feed on dead skin and hair. They can be easily found in beds and carpets. Mites are extremely tiny creatures, the only one way to see them is to use a microscope.

As a rule dust mites live not more than 80 days (actually, approximately 30 days). Females lay 1 or 2 eggs per day. Be careful the more humidity in your home the more favourable conditions for mites development are. There are 1,000 mites in one gram of dust.

According to numerous scientists we should blame dust mites for frequent wheezing, itching, asthma and other allergic reactions. Although everything depends on person’s own predisposition. The most annoying point – you will never get rid of them completely, you can only control their rate.

Symptoms of Allergies to Dust Mites:

watering eyes;

runny nose;

constant itching and sneezing;

difficulties in breathing;

hay fever …

Things to do:

wash your sheets and blankets in very hot water and as often as possible, at least every two weeks;

put all your sleeping belongings into plastic covers after actually sleeping;

use synthetic fabrics;

control humidity and temperature levels;

make cleanings at least two times a week;

remove carpets, cloth drapes and blinds;

change air filters regularly;

use a reliable vacuum;

ventilate your house;

air your rooms.

Good luck and take care )))
