How I Mistaken Dog For Snake

A funny story happened yesterday. I came to my friend. It is not funny, of course. But, I am a big and devoted animals-lover, so for many times I asked him: “Do you have a pet?” And the answer was - “NO!” I was still insistent, but he appeared to be a tight nut to crack, so I gave up and forgot about our conversations … till yesterday.

Mastiff Neopolitano cool dog

So, my hospitable friend left me alone in a living-room and went to make me a cup of tea. Oh, by the way, he is a delicious cooker. I was sitting there alone, as I was thinking, because, actually, he lives alone. And the, a sudden lick… Yeah, really a lick! I was shocked and I screamed and I was almost ready to follow my nose. But, Andres (my friend) stopped me. Mind over matter I turned back and saw… Your guesses, dear friends? A snake, a lizard, a tropical frog… Oh, now, it was a big, black DOG. She looked at me in such a friendly manner, that for a couple of seconds I was ready either to burst into laughter or to be ashamed of my own cowardice. But, then, do you remember, he used to say, NO pets. And what about this cuttie?

I will remember his answer for a long period of time: “It is Ly, she is a Neapolitan Mastiff Dog, and she is not a pet, she is a member of my family and my best friend!”

It is so sweet… :-)
