Sometimes animals can be so expressive, so nice that we just need humans for the typing part. How am I to know about it? I found the following photos and was impressed because of…

Animals’ curiosity. They want to know what happens around them, ready to make new friends and get acquainted even with extremely dangerous species.

Animals’ ability to relax, almost in any situation. They never neglect the call of nature, if you want to sleep – sleep, if you want to think about your friend Emma – think!

Animals’ flexibility. They can stand anger and bad mood of their partners and still feel wonderful!

Their desire to be cool and brave in the eyes of other animals.

Their gentle and warm feelings to each other.

And very often, they prove us, that we can feel cool even alone.

I adore ducks, not that I am their devoted fan, but they are cute (unless, they start biting you and quacking!) My site has its own ducks and I would like to share with you some excellent captures of these nice creatures.

I will start from this nice photo of mail ducks. They are bright and nice, nice, nice!!!

And now I am talking about a mother-duck and her children. They look adorable!

Turn your attention to these 3 cute ducklings, the contrast between yellow ducks and green grass is incredible.

And, what about this one? Nice and cute duck? But, unfortunately, my dears, it is a goose. As for me, the capture is breathtaking!!! Everything is perfect: colours, time, place and this goose!

Mandarin Duck

The male Mandarin is the most beautiful of all ducks. The Mandarin duck breeds in eastern Siberia, China, and Japan and winters in southern China and Japan. There is a small free-flying population in Britain stemming from the release captive bred ducks.

The male’s chestnut and green crest and the bright orange “sails” on his back are distinctive. For most of the summer, however, the male Mandarin duck loses his distinctive plumage and looks almost like a female Mandarin. Following the breeding season, the males molt all of their colorful feathers, which do not re-grow until sometime in the fall.

The female is duller in color and has an overall grey appearance marked by a curving white stripe behind the eye and a series of white blotches on the underparts.
Mandarin ducks are most active foraging around dawn and dusk. You can often see them sleeping in a shaded area during the day.

Although very well represented in captivity, Mandarin duck populations have been declining in recent decades and they are now considered Near Threatened.
