Funnies bunnies

Probably the funniest animals of our planet! Everyone used to see their pictures when suricates are watching for predators while standing on hind legs or sitting on its haunches. Its really cute and funny view.

Suricates

A dig extensive burrow systems (large underground networks with multiple entrances) used by suricates for sleep, protection, and housing young, that is why we always see them all together…
All the time they seem very frightened and way, and, when watching they use their tail to balance during standing upright. Its face tapers, coming to a point at the nose, which is brown. The eyes always have black patches around them, which help deflect the sun’s glare.

Animals

Hello again my dear fans of unusual and curious animals. Our subject of today is a very specific and beautiful creation – tapir. I’ve read somewhere that tapir was listed impartially in top 20 of unusual animal of the world. They look like a mixture of the pig and elephant :)
Four species of tapir exist on the planet today. The tapirs are related to the primitive horse and to the rhinoceros, see yourself

Mam and baby tapir

Tapirs have been variously described as having brown eyes or having eyes with a bluish cast to them. Tapirs like to bathe, and will make treks to pools and rivers for this purpose. All are dense and bulky with hard, tough skin. They swim well, climb well, and bulldoze paths through the vegetation of their habitats – vegetation on which they also browse for their main food source. They eat aquatic vegetables such as leaves, buds, twigs, and fruits of low plants.

Honey Bears Kinkajou

Small&Cute

Be ready to get acquainted with one of the most exotic pets. Kinkajous – they are not very easy to tame, but who likes simple and straight ways? I don’t. But, these pets are so curious, so playful, so friendly and amazing. They eat bananas, the same as monkeys. They communicate with a help of sounds, the loudest scream of Kinkajous is very much alike with a woman shout. Usually these animals are non-aggressive. But there are some cases of attacks after years of ideal behavior! It is even interesting to own such a pet, you will always stay tuned!

As a rule, Kinkajou weighs up to 3 kg, its unusual nickname “Honey Bear”, this animal got from the habit to eat honey (only captive species). Wild animals prefer drinking nectar from flowers. They can easily do it because of a special mouth formation – sharp teeth and long tongue. Tail is used as a means of climbing or a 5th hand. Kinkajous have short hair and special scent glands allowing them not to loose their weigh (each piece of territory and each place can be marked with a special liquid). These animals prefer sleeping together and moreover, taking care about each other and smaller species. As a rule, they live up to 23 years (maximal duration of life – 40 years!). Kinkajous are very often mistaken with olingos.

Pets

So my dear readers, let me introduse the next evidence of nature’s morbid imagination…
Axolotl. Mmm…it has so strange physical apperiance that it seems he was created in a lounge time with a glass of absinth..) I’ll prove that. Do u know that Axolotl has so amazing regenerative abilities, that if injured, even to the point of losing a body part, the Axolotl will heal readily and even regenerate lost bits!  Anyway, I’d like it to have in my own aquarium)
Just enjoy it’s photos.
Don't even know what to say

Axolotl

The axolotl is a type of salamander, native to Mexico.
My dears, if you intend to have Axolotl as a pet – remember, that Juvenile axolotls can be cannibalistic towards each other, so they are best raised in separate enclosures!!!
Adults can potentially be housed together but watch for cannibalistic tendencies.
In the wild, axolotls feed on snails, worms, crustaceans, small fish, and small amphibians. In captivity, they can be fed brine shrimp, small strips of beef or liver, earthworms (wild caught worms can carry parasites), bloodworms, tubifex worms, or commercial fish pellets (e.g. salmon or trout pellets).

Axolotl is the strangest

Well, for those who adore unusial pets in home aquarium – Axolotl is definitely best choice you may do. First place.

This is an exact example of our blog subject. Giant anteaters are a curious lot!
With tiny eyes and ears that greatly contrast its large snout, body, and tail, the world’s largest anteater is truly an extraordinary animal to see.

So delicious anteater

Giant Anteaters use a variety of habitats, including swamp, forests, and grasslands.
Anteaters eat ants and termites in vast quantities, sometimes up to 30,000 insects in a single day. The anteater will rip open a termite hill with its clawed hand and work its tubular snout into the opening, sticking its long, worm-shaped tongue down into the heart of the colony and trapping the insects on its tongue’s sticky coating.
Can you imagine that their tongue is attached to the sternum and moves very quickly, flicking 150 times per minute!!!

(They are so inoffencive by nature…)
Weird nature's creation anteater

The sad fact about them is that giant anteaters are increasingly killed in car accidents. They are also hunted for food, fur, and sport by people…

And for the last – excellent joke about anteater:
“Why don’t anteaters get sick? Because they’re full of anty-bodies!”
