This weekend I was walking at the local botanic garden. Among various types of trees and shrubs I’ve seen probably the prettiest and quick-moving wild animal – the squirrel ) When seen her everyone (including me as well) stop and start to photo this little red furry cutie.

Armoured Animal – Pangolin

Amazing animal, don’t you think so? It is a pangolin, it is extremely strange. For the first time, I even didn’t realized where his or may be her head is. You see, I have mistaken two completely different parts of the body! I have never seen something like that. This pangolin looks like a big hedgehog, but without needles. I don’t know for sure, but I think is is wearing an armour or a shell. I even don’t know whether it is possible to say that it is cute, may be pangolins are dangerous. I just liked this video and decided to enjoy it, the whole info I will find tomorrow. The only one thing – the location is the Kalahari.

Tarsiers are incredible, amazing and many other pleasant words. Very often they are not bigger, than a people’s hand (I mean a palm). Living in captivity, they, as a rule, change an original lifestyle and eat everything: insects, small animals and even cookies…

Tarsius syrichta tarsier

Tarsiers, probably one of the most interesting animals in the world. They are exotic, funny and so small. Latin name is ‘Tarsius Syrichta’. They eat mostly insects, tarsiers grow up to 160 mm and weigh up to 165 grams. They can’t be mistaken with other animals and small primates because of a very peculiar appearance. Tarsiers possess large eyes and feet. They got such a strange name exactly because of the extended tarsus bones. These animals are perfect hunters because of large eyes and ears. They lead a night style of life. Oh, no! It doesn’t mean that they go to discos or participate in hot dancing nights, they are hunting and at day time they are mostly sleeping. Tarsiers’ vision is extremely acute and they can catch insects and even birds by jumping either from one branch to another or from one tree to another. Sometimes, tarsiers can hunt even snakes. Moreover, tarsiers’ neck can turn 180 degrees. :-) As a rule, tarsiers live on trees and they are of gray colour. Tarsiers possess a naked tale (unlike many other animals).
