If you happened to meet a nice, elegant cat that resembles you noble, generous cats, almost like ancient Egyptian statues, be sure an Abyssinian cat is in front of you. Main and the most peculiar feature of these cats is their richly colored tabby coat without any marking on it and other parts of cat’s body as well. All cats are believed to be the descendants of Zula – an Egyptian female kitten, she was taken from Egypt to England.

Appearance

These cats are of medium-size, very elegant with strong bodies and long, rather thin legs. Paws are small. Heads are round with large, pointed ears. Eyes are large and almond-shaped. Tails are long. There are 4 possible colours of Abyssinian cats: ruddy, red, blue and fawn.
