I just lost my Siamese cat. He was 17 years old. It broke my heart to have him put to sleep. He was so smart, understood every word I said. I would like another one, but I'm not sure I can go through the pain of losing another one. I miss him so much.

Yes, Siamese are wonderful. My mom just gave me a kitten. Her name is Marie and she is 5 months. So wonderful... only she likes to get up early in the morning to eat. She loves to listen to harp and piano music. She is a very content kitten. She gets along well with my other cat who is 7 years old. They are good companions.

Thanks for your comment! Hello, Sabrina! First of all, let me thank you for your useful, sincere and informative comment. It’s great that most moment with your cat were warm and positive. I think, most readers will read your comment and understand that to own a cat is really cool and pleasant.

I've owned a Siamese and can attest that they are fantastic companions. They will happily have a conversation with you. Never turn your back on them in the kitchen, or you may lose your dinner - they are quick, stealthy thieves at times! Siamese cats are just a little different from every other cat; they will, if you train them young enough, go for walks with you on a harness. My cat enjoyed playing with water, even IN water! They can be finicky eaters and the best advice is to give them good, fresh food: cooked chicken, raw chicken necks or wings, fresh mince and fish. And of course, they will, every time, choose the most comfortable seat in the house to make their own. When you own a Siamese you become a willing slave, and don't regret a minute of it.
