So, you have a nice and cool, funny-looking and fluffy hamster. It is really GREAT! ))) But, you don’t know how to take care of it. It is BAD! ((( Please, enjoy the following tips, hope they will help you and your beloved hamster-pet.
Choose the right place
I mean where you are going to put a cage with your hamster. An ideal location is far from all kinds of drafts, and direct sunlight. What is more it must be a frequently visited place.
Make a comfortable cage
Please, don’t forget to cover the cage floor with a bedding, make sure your hamster has an 24/7 access to a clean water bottle. The bottle mustn’t touch the bedding, ’cause when it gets wet, it can rot.
Toys
Hamsters love all kinds of toys and they play with them with pleasure.
Bed
In a figurative meaning of this word. As a rule, hamsters sleep in a special closed cardboard box. Don’t fill this box with anything, leave it to your hamster.
Food
Traditionally, hamsters eat special hamster-food once or twice a day. If you would like to give your hamster some fruits or vegetables, give very small portions first in order its digestive system to get used to new food.
Sport
Put an exercise wheel in a hamster cage. Thus, your hamster will always stay healthy and tuned.
Cleaning
It is extremely important to wash your hamster’s cage once a week. And don’t leave the remnants of food in a cage for more than 2 days. And as to hamster itself, don’t even think to bathe it!

ReplyHamsters are so cute and lovable! We’ve had several hamsters over the years. They do look like little teddy bears! It’s fun to watch them stuff their cheeks with food with their little hands. These pictures make us miss having hamsters around!

Replyhie…Iam getting a hamster soon and getting it in an aquarium cage for it..the problem is iam putting it in my room and usually it is air conditioned. Some friends told me that it wil freeze to death.Or is it healthy for the hamster itself.I will usually on my air con during night time.
ReplyHI, HAMMIES ARE GREAT YOU WILL ENJOY HAVING THEM AS PETS. I CURRENTLY HAVE 5 NOW BUT HAVE HAD AS MANY AS 16 AT ONE TIME. THEY ARE FROM THE SAME BLOODLINE AS I HAVE BOUGHT A FEW TO BREED. I KEEP MY HAMMIES IN CAGES AND AQUARIUMS IN MY LIVING ROOM; WHICH IS AIR CONDITIONED AND CAN BE QUITE CHILLY AT TIMES.I ALWAYS MAKE SURE THEY HAVE PLENTY OF BEDDING & MULCH (RIPPED UP TSHIRTS,SOCKS, UNDIES ECT…)THEY NATURALLY WILL MAKE THEIR BEDS IF THEY ARE COLD JUST LIKE THEY WILL SHOVE THEIR MULCH & BEDDING AWAY IF THEY ARE TOO WARM. NOT ONLY WILL THEY SHOVE IT AWAY THEY WILL ALSO SLEEP TUMMY SIDE UP IF THEY’RE TOO WARM.
ReplyI love my hamster Ratti!! He is my little fried and i dont know what i would do without him. seeing theses pictures makes me want to take him out of his cage and give him a tickle!!
