Still Painting Your Cat? Forget About it

This book appeared 5 years ago and had a title “Why Paint Cats: The Ethics of Feline Aesthetics”. It provoked millions of opinions, both positive and negative ones and is in the full glare of publicity for more than 5 years. When people saw it for the first time, they were shocked, some recommended it to their friends and some decided to aware Cats Caring Associations. Nevertheless, the opinions were quite controversial.

Although, we still don’t know, whether these cats’ photos are real or not, we can enjoy them. But if they are real, I hope, no cats were harmed and their fur will grow soon and there won’t be even a hint as to their previous “colouring”.

The following cats are bright, amazing and sometimes combinations are really stunning! I hope, most people are men of sense and are not feel like painting their own cats.

According to a not very reliable source, prices can vary from $15,000 to $30,000 and more… I mean such a colouring can cost…

As a digital artist, I’m having trouble thinking these are legit. Most likely photoshop. Even so, what a COOL bunch of pictures! As far as controversy, I can’t see how this affects the cat negatively. I’m sure they don’t mind being unusual, and humans dye their own hair, so….

Hello, Emi-San, thank you so much for your useful comment. These cats impressed me greatly. I completely agree with you, that it’s Photoshop. But, what about negative influence… some people believe, paint can be harmful and dangerous, as cats lick themselves… I think, you’ve got the idea. However, we can still enjoy these pictures! :-)
