I have a red eared slider turtle. He lived in & around our pond. He had gone missing 2 yrs. ago, I figured he died. Recently I found him burrowed in the ground under some vines. Yesterday he made a pretty long trek from the side yard to the patio just outside our sliding glass door. He seemed to be enjoying the heavy rainfall. Someone suggested he is in distress since this was out of character for him. Now I can't find him again. Any suggestions? Do you think he is in distress? Thanks Nancy
