This story touched me to the quick and I really liked it. It tells us that even predators can be great mothers to somebody’s children…
This story happened in one Zoo in California. A mother tiger gave birth to small tigers but unfortunately they died. She was not only missing them, she was depressed and so lonely. Zoo keepers had to do something in order to save her.
But, there were NO tiger cubs of the right age, there were actually only small pigs of this age. The experiment was really dangerous but it was worth trying :-)

This really is very impressive story. I agree that the experiment was really dangerous …yet I hope everything will be alright in the future.
ReplyI hope too and thanks for your lovely words.
ReplyOh, that is a FROGTASTIC story! Those little piglets look SO sweet in their new tiger pyjams!
ReplyWe hope Tiger Mum is much happier now with her new adopted babies.
Hugs all round!
This experiment is interesting in NOOOO many ways.
However, the most important lesson I’ve taken from this is that if I ever go to Africa bring an orange and black sharpie marker in case I am chased by a tiger, I can strip down and draw tiger strips on me. Voila! Survival 101. Thanks Angel.
