The jaguar animal (or Panthera Onca) considered to be one of the most amazing and beautiful rainforest animals. What is more, jaguars are the largest of South America’s big cats.
Over the years it was incredibly difficult and almost impossible to access jaguar in its natural habitats. But, thanks to new technologies, everything is possible and now we know:
Jaguars live in biodiversity-rich regions and they are native to of Central and South America. Their main places of living are forest and areas close to water sources. Jaguars are capable swimmers, and they can swim so fast that they make bow waves. But they prefer living in sheltered areas, far from people. But if you happen to see a jaguar in the wild, you are a lucky dog, this impression will last forever. Jaguars are gracious, beautiful and so dangerous. Very often jaguars are called jungle cats.
As a rule, the jaguar is approximately 6 feet long, and weighs nearly 250 p, it has a muscular and strong body and stout legs. Paws are more than powerful. Coats of leopards are bright, thick and got a lot of spots. Most jaguars are orange or tan and get very distinctive spots. Average lifespan in the wild: 12 to 15 years.

The jaguar is a nocturnal animal, so it hunts mostly during the dark hours of the day.Jaguars eat exceptionally meat (that is, other animals! and fish!). They are very intelligent.
The first and the most dangerous threat is PEOPLE! Yeah, a lot of us adore wearing luxurious leopard coats, so poaching flourishes.
