The arrival of a new family member is always touching and pleasant especially when we are talking about dogs. After a couple of days the situation becomes clearer and you have to face the truth: a pet is not a synonym to a toy and it means a lot for you to do and to learn.
The following tips will be useful for all dog owners and those thinking of puppy training.
- you have to understand that this small fluffy ball is completely dependent on you and only you can help him or her to become kind and adequate and loving … etc. Only your guidance will help a small fool doggie to become a beautiful and smart dog;
- you are responsible for shaping the character, temperament and behavior habits of your puppy;
- your puppy’s future is in your hands;
- while training a puppy never forget about numerous rewards, praises and encouragement;
- start training your puppy as soon as it arrives at your house;
- try to put your puppy on the right path from the very beginning and try to concentrate on the habits you would like to see in it in the nearest future;
- make training sections a must and neither forget about them nor change time of training;
- try not to use harsh punishments while training;
- don’t be angry with your puppy’s mistakes;
- if in the course of time your doggie still seems to have some really serious problems as seperation anxiety you’d better consult a qualified specialist.
Good luck )))

ReplyLove the dachshund photo the best. We raised dachshunds before and they were really fun to have around. Nice tips on raising puppies, too. Take care. Connie

ReplyMost canines aren’t just people’s “pets”… They are part of the family. And just like children, dogs require lots of time, care and love to become the happy dog they should become. YOU have to teach them right from wrong in order to be a proud parent.
