Not so far, representatives of the Bavarian city’s zoo have successfully completed a rescuing operation. They took a small Polar bear cub from her mother. And for already more than 2 weeks keepers feed her from bottles.

Please, don’t think that we are talking about sadists and people, who hate animals, oh, no! They were afraid that Vera (mother of the small bear) could harm her baby. Most zoo keepers noticed, that Vera carried her baby in jaws and tossed her around the enclosure.

This cuttie is a very famous girl. There was an online poll about her name and the Bavarian zoo received more than 50,000 suggestions (via e-mail) from all over the world and most people supported keepers, who named this baby Flocke (German for snowflake).
